Some thoughts on how this median system works

We share consciousness and memories, and self-awareness to an extent, but not self-knowledge? Like, I, Ray, can't know for sure what kinds of things Celeste finds aesthetically pleasing unless Celeste is around. I spent a lot of time freaking out that the other facets were scared of me because they thought I was going to banish them but the real reasons were completely unrelated to that. And of course there's the whole "I've just switched back in and only have the vaguest memories of what we just did, like someone else told me about it" thing that freaked me out REALLY BAD the first time (still sorry about that btw)

im pretty sure the others know what ive done though so that doesn't really seem fair but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

though tbf i could be wrong since, of course, i can't actually speak for their experiences

anyway. it's probably not good to dissect this TOO Much since we don't, actually, know what Normal memory is like and therefore how much of this is Nothing, how much of this is median-related, or how much of it is symptoms of something else.
