I'm really curious to figure out how styles work and how I can upload my own

web design student powers ACTIVATE

...this had better not be one of those things where there is a paywall to actually work with the html/css

There's lots of customization options (almost too many imo i kind of like just being able to do everything myself from scratch but that doesn't appear to be an option from what i can tell, at least not the way it was on tumblr)

there's a whole section for entering custom css, so i guess just pick whichever theme + column layout looks most flexible/most like what you want and work with that. i'm usually too lazy to customize themes even though i know how to - it kind of feels like work :P

im not sure how you're supposed to know what class or id names o use though like theres that

& yeah idk either theres too many options

which is why i usually like to do it myself from scratch in the first place

oh yeah you gotta like, view source on your journal page and pull it from there. it is kind of a pain in the butt now that i remember doing it. (even though that's pretty much how i learned web coding... back in the days of earlier LJ and.. neopets... it wasn't the best way to learn lol)
