Fantasy Internet

Okay so in my fantasy series, I've been exploring the idea of magic originating from a world of dreams (think the Fade in Dragon Age) and that anyone can navigate it in lucid dreams (a process creatively called Dreamwalking)

And if you can encounter other people who are also dreamwalking and talk to them??? Especially if the normal laws of space and reality don't apply???

People meeting strangers from all around the world; this being remarked upon in literature and culture since its always been a thing (for as long as people have been able to dream and understand that some of what they're experiencing is Real)

People meeting their lovers in the dream world 4 secret romance

...Assassins and intelligence networks trying to take advantage of dreamwalkers, people coming up with countermeasures

And ofc people going to spirits for guidance and seeking out Hidden Knowledge via visions and stuff

I'm so glad i thought of this idea. im keeping it
